Yes, we really did have camel burgers for lunch in Meknes |
As at the 19th September, the Motleys are at least alive and well….more or less, and
are now resting at a rather nice hotel in Todra Gorge, an amazing oasis in the
middle of the Moroccan High Atlas Mountains.
So far, we’ve survived a self-guided tour of Rabat, the maze of
centuries old markets in Fez and a camel ride and desert camp out under the
stars in the Erg Chebbi (better known as the outskirts of the Sahara Desert). And we’re only half way through our journey….
Given the scarcity of working internet connections, we plan to report our Moroccan trip in a different way... Rather than provide lots of itinerary detail, we’ve gone with a quick top ten things to do in Morocco….and lots of pictures. We'll post when and if we can. We can hear your sighs of relief now!!!
And please, don’t mention carpets!!
Fortunately they come in automatic |
Or for that matter, don't mention pottery... |
